Circuit Game Boy
I'm 14 years old junior, and my nerves waaaaay too many matches in the tournament?
I am a 14 years and currently competing in the circuit of the USTA Junior Satellite and open. In my last 9 tournaments, I had 7 pre-outs in the third round. Then, even when I play these guys who know they have the ability to win them, even against an opponent almost easier when I know I will win, freeze and get really tight in the elbows and wrists. I've never quite played one tournament game at gaming in a practice match, and I know I'm capable of reaching a semi-open and maybe win a satellite (I'm not trying to be arrogant, true). Any form of help to overcome this obstacle and finally feel confident in my game? Thank you very much!
I think there are a few things. first Instead, you just take one point at a time. do not get too caught up in the end game or something. if necessary, take the time between points to catch his breath. give back to your opponent and just relax. then come to play the next point. Also, there is definitely a confidence problem. It seems that your practice matches are strong. that has all the tools necessary to win big. It's just a matter of having confidence in your shots. to practice a lot and you must believe that you will able to pull through. but then again, there's always room for improvement. so if you notice anything in particular that lets you down (ie forehand or something well) Make sure you practice and practice, under pressure as the drill of perhaps one in which they begin to lose in a playoff and you can only hit shots right or something. and, finally, perhaps the strategy. If you're drowning, it is definitely time to go to the winners of the club. Take your time, recover the ball in play. much of the back, good height, and just be ready to grind the point. chances are, if you're tense, your opponent is too. I hope help.
