Nintendo Nes Guaranteed
I want to play NES games on my PC / Vista? ?
I play old school Nintendo / Sega games on my PC with Vista. I'm at work and can not pass filters, but is there a cd / dvd i can buy that game has some of them. Maybe there is a secured site that I can download that is legal. I mind paying just I want to play.
Download Roms (virtual console games for PC) is only legal if you own the game in question. It is my understanding that downloading roms are legal if you own the game, allowing the user to have a backup of the game (s) purchased. If you do not own the game (s), then it is illegal to download the rom (s). However, a quick Google search revealed this website: http://www.virtualnes.com/ From the looks of things seems to be a program you can download NES games and play one at a time on your server. They only offer games that are actually there in the office, in order to avoid copyright infringement. You may might be able to download their software and burn a CD where you can go to work and open the software from the CD. I'm not sure how strict filters are nothing more than hope this helps!
