Hello everyone, I currently have a degree in Criminal Justice and have succeeded in at school Graduate MS / MA in Criminal Justice. Although I have been accepted at some schools I applied to some federal agencies like the U.S. Secret Service Uniformed Officer Division. My ultimate goal is to become a Special Agent / Criminal Investigator, so I do not know if I should give up the Graduate School Division of the USSS Uniformed Uniformed I must be a Federal law enforcement authorities and gain experience or to get my Masters and apply to the special agent positions when I graduate? What would you do?
Hi Bob W! It's great to have these opportunities and choices. However, the only person who can answer this question is you. What do you do? If you delay the job, you will be entering the labor market at a higher level, which if introduced now. Would you like to stay in school and can you afford to delay working for 2-3 years? These are factors to be weighed carefully. Best wishes.
